HBR.L (update): Harbour Energy’s BASF overhang has reduced further, with BASF cutting its stake from 24.3% to 16.4%. The main benefit is a higher free-float adjustment used by index-tracking funds; additionally, Harbour repurchased and will cancel c.$190m of shares at just 6.6x consensus 2027 earnings. The trade-off is a c.$40m reduction to its ongoing $250m buyback.
