Results: Brookfield 2q26 - $BN
BN (earnings): Brookfield delivered the promised acceleration, with distributable earnings before realizations up 15%. BAM and Brookfield Wealth Solutions grew 15% and 23%, respectively, versus 3% growth in operating businesses. The transformation toward insurance is becoming clearer as BWS expands; once it is fully merged into BN, essentially all of BN’s capital base could support insurance underwriting. At a nearly 40% sum-of-the-parts discount and ~15x forward DEBR, valuation remains attractive, though BAM’s earlier carry realization is not material to BN.
