It also provides DxShield, a film for medical eye shield; and leak repair products through Infra-Aid brand. In addition, the company offers surface mounted type fuses and water treatment agents for inorganic effluent; and solar cell conductive films for photovoltaic modules. Its products are used in various applications, such as television, note and tablet PC, smartphones, automobiles, optical communication, factory automation, currency validation, medical and healthcare, and analyzers and measuring equipment. The company was formerly known as Sony Chemical & Information Device Corporation and changed its name to Dexerials Corporation in September 2012. Dexerials Corporation was founded in 1962 and is headquartered in Tochigi, Japan.
