WisdomTree Trust - WisdomTree U.S. Efficient Core Fund is an exchange traded fund launched by WisdomTree, Inc. The fund is co-managed by WisdomTree Asset Management, Inc., Mellon Investments Corporation. It invests in public equity and fixed income markets of the United States. For its equity portion, it invests in stocks of companies operating across diversified sectors. The fund invests in growth and value stocks of large-cap companies. For its fixed income portion, it invests through derivatives in U.S. treasury securities with maturities between 2 to 30 years. The fund uses derivatives such as futures to create its portfolio. It seeks to benchmark the performance of its portfolio against the S&P 500 Index and a composite index comprising of 60% of the S&P 500 Index and 40% of the Bloomberg U.S. Aggregate Index.
