Rollerball International, Inc manufactures patented design of inline skates. The RollerBall skates differ from traditional inline skates as its skates have spherical-shaped wheels instead of the flat, disk-shaped wheels of traditional inline skates, resulting in enhanced performance. The spherical cross section of the technology provides a uniform, unchanging shape, and a greater area of contact with the skating surface. Its design allows a skater to achieve levels of acceleration, balance, and maneuverability greater than that, which can be achieved by comparably priced traditional inline skates. It also offers related accessories, including helmets, safety pads, and replacement parts.
