Boasso Global Inc., through its subsidiaries, transports bulk chemicals in North America. It operates through three segments: Chemical Logistics, Intermodal, and Energy Logistics. The Chemical Logistics segment transports liquid and dry bulk chemicals, and bulk dry and liquid food-grade products, as well as provides logistics and other value-added services. It also operates in the for-hire chemical and food grade bulk transport market. The Intermodal segment offers intermodal ISO tank container transportation and depot services; tank cleaning, heating, testing, maintenance, and storage services; and local and over-the-road trucking services. The Energy Logistics segment transports crude oil, flowback and produced brine water, and fresh water; and disposes flowback and produced brine water, as well as provides related ancillary services. As of December 31, 2014, the company managed a fleet of approximately 3,200 tractors, 5,700 trailers, and 1,200 pieces of energy logistics equipment. It serves customers through a network of 95 terminals in the chemical market, 19 terminals in the energy market, and 9 ISO tank depot services terminals in the chemical and other bulk liquid markets. Boasso Global Inc. was formerly known as Quality Distribution, Inc. and changed its name to Boasso Global Inc. in July 2021. The company was founded in 1985 and is headquartered in Tampa, Florida. As of August 18, 2015, Boasso Global Inc. was taken private.
