As of January 3, 1996, Larizza Industries, Inc. was acquired by Collins & Aikman Corp., with Larizza as the surviving corporation. Pursuant to the merger, Larizza became a wholly owned subsidiary of Collins & Aikman. Previously, Larizza Industries, Inc. was engaged in the design and manufacture of plastic-based components and systems utilized in the interiors of automobiles, light trucks, sport utility vehicles, and mini-vans. Its product line ranged from sidewall trim, air outlet assemblies, and cupholders to complete instrument panels and door panels.
