It was formerly known as JPS Textile Group, Inc. and changed its name to JPS Industries, Inc. in June 1999. JPS Industries, Inc. was founded in 1982 and is based in Greenville, South Carolina with manufacturing locations in Anderson and Slater, South Carolina; and Statesville, North Carolina.
