JPS Industries, Inc.

As of July 2, 2015, JPS Industries, Inc. was acquired by Handy & Harman Group Ltd. JPS Industries, Inc. manufactures sheet and mechanically formed glass and aramid substrate materials. Its products are used in a range of applications, including printed electronic circuit boards; advanced composite materials; civilian and military aerospace components; filtration and insulation products; specialty commercial construction substrates; medical, automotive, and industrial components; and soft body armor for civilian and military applications. It was formerly known as JPS Textile Group, Inc. and changed its name to JPS Industries, Inc. in June 1999. JPS Industries, Inc. was founded in 1982 and is based in Greenville, South Carolina with manufacturing locations in Anderson and Slater, South Carolina; and Statesville, North Carolina.
