As of August 7, 1996, Ideon Group, Inc. was acquired by CUC International, Inc. Previously, Ideon Group, Inc. operated as the holding company for SafeCard Services Incorporated, which was a credit card enhancement marketing company; Wright Express Corporation, which provided transaction and information processing services to oil companies and commercial transportation fleets; National Leisure Group, Inc., which provided vacation travel packages and cruises; and Ideon Marketing and Services Company, which managed an initiative between the company, the PGA TOUR, and SunTrust BankCard, N.A. to develop and market an expanded PGA TOUR Partners program.
